Packaging Projects

A compilation of various packaging projects completed over the years. Every project and client is unique so I utilize a wide range of styles to find the right voice and tone for each. Sometimes a flat graphic approach is a better fit but other times realism or line work is. I do concept work for all projects so that the idea and style are wholly realized and thought through from the beginning. Some projects are larger scale than others depending on the deliverables but each one was given time, consideration and care.

Moxie Whiskey

Moxie Sozo annual client gift internal whiskey design. Created an illustration which depicts a surreal science fiction desert landscape.

I did not work on the logo, graphic design or type development.

Sandstone Wellness

Rebranding for a line of collagen wellness products. I took this project from concept to final. Created abstract illustrations that layer different colors, textures and line art which represent how aging can be beautiful and that life is created from layers of experiences adding up to make a unique tapestry of color and shape.

I did not work on the logo, graphic design or type development.

Suja Kids

Used Suja’s existing brand guide to develop a children’s line. I concepted the graphic design, layout and overall idea and style then collaborated with my coworker to execute the type and production while I executed the illustrations.

Wanted to use a playful style with a chalk like outline to appeal to kids and keep their lively organic feel.

Wild Leaf

Worked with Moxie Sozo’s design team to develop packaging for Wild Leaf Hard Tea. Created illustrations which depict realistic rainforest foliage and various fruit ingredients.

I did not work on the logo, graphic design or type development.

Cliff Falls Whiskey

Illustrated Kentucky falls with a printed style with halftones for texture and to add a slightly more old school flare. Both labels are ripped and connected by a sticker.

I did not work on the logo, graphic design or type development.

Figure Ate

Packaging for Persimmon Vinegar, Original and Spiced Air-Dried Beef Biltong by Figure Ate. Created fresh realistic food illustrations that felt both premium and had an emphasis on taste appeal and ingredients. Also created a line art illustration of their farms which are used as a background in the packaging.

I did not work on the logo, graphic design or type development.

Loco Coffee

Conceptual Coffee brand, created a butterfly logo with coffee beans, a smiling face and mugs of coffee hidden within it. Carried the designs over to merchandise, coffee bags and a brandboard.

Nada Moo

Worked on creating and editing Illustrations for Nada Moo ice cream packaging illustrations.

I did not work on the logo, graphic design or type development.
